Google Docs! You are going to begin hearing lots about Google on the Farm! The district has several Instructional Technology Specialists that are working alongside teachers in rolling out Google Docs to students! The LSR7 Educational Foundation purchased a lab of 30 Chromebooks for each building and LFE will soon be receiving their mobile lab! Please reacquaint yourselves with the district's guidelines as it pertains to Technology Usage and Google Docs. It is located here at the following link! Technology and kids...kind of a natural thing here in the 21st Century!!

  1. I think this is great. I was watching my daughter work on her assignment last night and fascinated at seeing her interact with her classmates real time, virtually. I'm not exactly sure why I was so enthralled because then I thought - this is exactly what I do in my job (finding ways for people to collaborate better when geographically dispersed) in the corporate world. However, it is not easy getting people (especially adults outside of the Millenials generation) to adapt to using technology in this manner to work together.

It was great to see this in action.
